Ayon sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), malapit nang matapos ang distribusyon ng ayuda sa mga benepisyaryo ng social amelioration program (SAP).

Sa pagdinig ng House committee on appropriations sa P171.2-billion proposed 2021 budget ng DSWD, sinabi ni Sec. Rolando Bautista na 97 percent na ang kanilang completion rate para sa second tranche ng SAP.

Aabot na aniya sa P82.7 billion ang kanilang naipapahatid mula sa P100 billion budget para sa ikalawang yugto ng naturang programa na may 14.1 million target beneficiaries.

Sa ilalim ng Bayanihan to Heal as One Act (Bayanihan 1), makakatanggap ng P5,000 hanggang P8,000 ang bawat low-income household.

Ayon kay Bautista, naipahatid nila ang ayudang ito sa pamamagitan ng direct payout o digital payment system.
