DALAWANG PINOY CREW NA NA-RESCUE SA JAPAN NAKA-QUARANTINE NA SA MAYNILA

Naka-quarantine na ngayon sa isang hotel sa Maynila ang dalawang nakaligtas na Filipino crew members ng nawawalang Panamanian-flagged vessel na Gulf Livestock-1 sa Japan.

Ang dalawang Pinoy crew ay na-rescue ng Japanese Coast Guard na agad nagsagawa ng rescue operations sa karagatan na bahagi ng East China Sea.

Sa kasalukuyan, ay mahigit 30 pang mga Pinoy seafarers na sakay ng barko ang patuloy pang pinaghahanap mula pa noong September 2.

Sa panig ng Philippine Coast-Guard inalalayan nila ang dalawang Pinoy crew hanggang sa kanilang quarantine hotel.

Patuloy pa rin ang search and rescue operations ng Japanese Coast Guard sa nawawalang barko, bagama’t hanggang ngayon ay wala pa ring positibong balita ang Japanese rescue team.

Nakatutok na rin sa search operations ang Philippine Embassy sa Tokyo, ganundin ang Philippine Consulate General sa Osaka at Philippine Overseas Labor Office sa Osaka, Japan.
