The Department of Education (DepEd) is not closing its doors to conduct limited i-person classes in areas without COVID-19 cases.

According to DepEd undersecretary Toni Umali, for now , there’s no face-to-face classes but DepEd has been preparing for it.

President Rodrigo Duterte in July had prohibited in-person classes until a COVID-19 vaccine becomes available in the country. He said face-to-face classes may resume in January next year.
