Dolores Municipal Police Station Chief Police Captain Joseph Ian Java was administratively relieved from his post for allegedly violating health protocols amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Authorities said Java is undergoing investigation for violating Philippine National Police’s directive on the ban against parties and gatherings during the holiday season.

Police Lieutenant Almario Dela Rosa has been designated as the officer-in-charge of the Dolores MPS

Quezon Police chief Police Colonel Audie Madrideo urged his men to take the lead and be an example to the public in following strict protocols amid the health crisis.
