Maaari nang magpalabas ng warrant of arrest sa pamamagitan ng online ang mga korte.

Ito ay kasunod narin ng paglulunsad ng Philippine National Police (PNP) at ng Korte Suprema ang “E-Warrant System.”

Sa ilalim nito, pinapayagan ng Korte Suprema ang digital na pag-transmit ng warrant of arrest sa PNP na kanilang gagamitin sa pagdakip sa mga suspect.

Bahagi ito ng mga ipinatupad na pagbabago ng judikatura simula nang magpatupad ng lockdown dahil sa COVID-19.

Una ay nagkaroon ng “e-inquests” at online court hearings.
