FDA ASSURES COMPLETE REQUIRED PROCEDURES IN APPROVAL OF COVID-19 VACCINE
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) assured no shortcuts and vowed to approve the COVID-19 vaccine from Russia if it has completed all the necessary local procedures to ensure that it is safe and effective.
COVID-19 from Russia called Sputnik V is set to be tested in the Philippines.
FDA Director-General Eric Domingo said they would never register a COVID-19 vaccine unless it has completed the Phase 3 trial.
Palace earlier said that the country is set to conduct the Phase 3 of clinical trials of the vaccine from October 2020 to March 2021.
