According to Reuters tally, more than 38.25 million people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally and 1,087,361? have died.

Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.

The top five countries with the highest number of cases are:

1. United States – 215,937 deaths and 7,886,521 total cases

2. India – 110,586 deaths and 7,239,389 cases

3. Brazil – 150,998 deaths and 5,113,628 cases

4. Russia – 23,205 deaths and 1,340,409 cases

Ranking 18th just above Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, the Philippines has 6,449 deaths out of the 346,536 cases.
