GLOBAL COVID-19 CASES REACH 35.51M WITH 1,041,439 DEATH TOLL

According to Reuters tally, more than 35.51 million people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally and 1,041,439 have died.

Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.

The US leads with 7,481,660 cases and 210,233 deaths.

It was followed by:

– India: 6,685,082 cases and 103,569 deaths
– Brazil: 4,927,235 cases and 146,675 deaths
– Russia: 1,225,889 cases and 21,475 deaths
– Colombia: 862,158 cases and 26,844 deaths
– Peru: 829,999 cases and 32,834 deaths

The Philippines has recorded 326,833 cases and 5,865 deaths as of Tuesday.
