Sumailalim ang mga inmate ng New Bilibid Prison sa COVID-19 testing bilang pag-iingat matapos ipatupad ng Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) ang “controlled-dalaw” ngayong panahon ng Kapaskuhan.

Sa pangunguna ng Directorate for Health Services ay 123 persons deprived of liberty (PDL) mula sa Maximum Security Compound ang sumalang sa Rapid Antigen testing.

Sa kasalukuyan ay walang naitalang active cases ng COVID-19 sa Bilibid.

Halos siyam na buwang sinuspinde ng BuCor ang visitation privilege sa National Penitentiary dahil sa banta ng COVID-19 sa bansa.

Isasagawa ang “controlled-dalaw” hanggang January 1, 2021 mula alas-otso ng umaga hanggang alas-singko ng hapon ngunit may itinakdang schedule sa bawat quadrant.

Face-to-face ang pagdalaw sa mga bilanggo pero walang physical contact at labinlimang minuto lamang ang ibibigay sa kanila.
