NEW JAPAN ENVOY VOWS TO FORGE CLOSER FRIENDSHIP AS HE ARRIVES IN THE PHILIPPINES
Ambassador-designate Koshikawa Kazuhiko arrived in Manila on November 26, 2020 and promised to forge closer friendship between two nations.
“It is my great honor and privilege to be appointed Ambassador of Japan to the Philippines,” Koshikawa said.
Koshikawa also served as Japan’s ambassador to Spain from 2014 to 2016 and Angola from 2008 to 2011.
“The relationship between our two countries is a shining example of cooperation and mutual understanding that our forebears have nurtured,” Koshikawa said.
“I am delighted to have this opportunity to scale new heights of the bilateral relations and forge even closer friendship.” He added.
