P1.39 MILLION WORTH OF SHABU SEIZED IN ANGELES CITY, PAMPANGA

Authorities seized on Thursday more than P1.39 million worth of alleged shabu from suspects during a buy-bust operation in Angeles City, Pampanga.

According to the Police Regional Office (PRO), 3 the seized illegal drugs weighed more or less 205 grams.

Three suspects were also arrested by police operatives of Police Station 4 of Angeles Police office during the operation.

PRO Regional Director Police Brigadier General Rhodel Sermonia identified as Sunny Pelle y Avila, Ashraf Tumawis y Faisal, and Michael Garcia y Dela Cruz.

Police confiscated from the suspects one piece of a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, and two pieces of knot-tied transparent plastic sheets also containing suspected shabu weighing around 205 grams and estimated to be worth P1,394,000.

The suspects will face charges of violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
