Lumagda sa isang kasunduan ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Parañaque kasama ang Multisys Technologies Corporation para sa implementasyon ng contactless transactions sa panahon ng COVID-19 pandemic.

Batay sa memorandum of agreement, makakatuwang ng city government ang kumpanya para sa electronic payments ng fees, charges, at revenues.

Layon nito na gawing mabilis, madali, at contactless ang pagbabayad ng buwis at iba pang transaksyon sa lungsod sa pamamagitan ng electronic o online payment.

Alinsunod ito sa City Ordinance Number 2020-05 o ang Electronic and Online Payment Collection System.

Inaasahang makatutulong ang programa upang maiwasan ang pagkalat ng COVID-19 sa Parañaque.

Una rito, inilunsad ng LGU ang online services noong Hunyo para sa application process at appointment system ng business permits at iba pang business-related transactions sa pangunguna ng BPLO.

Nitong Agosto naman ay naging partner ng Parañaque ang PayMaya Philippines para sa digital payment solutions kung saan maaaring gamitin ang platform sa pagbabayad ngtraffic violation fees, real property at business taxes, at iba pang miscellaneous accounts.
