PH RECORDS 3,281 NEW COVID-19 CASES, BRINGING THE TOTAL NUMBER OF INFECTIONS TO 241,987
The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday announced 3,281 new infections breaking the three-day streak of less than 3,000 new cases.
Metro Manila still logged the highest number of new infections at 1,420, followed by Cavite with 263, Negros Occidental with 204, Laguna with 197, and Rizal with 196.

The DOH said new cases reported on Tuesday were based on data submitted by 81 of the 115 operational laboratories.
Meanwhile, total recoveries rose to 185,178 after 286 more patients recovered from the respiratory disease.
