PMA CLASS 1983 PUTS UP P1-M REWARD FOR THE CAPTURE OF PCSO EXECUTIVE’S KILLER
The Philippine Military Class of 1983 has announced a P1 million reward for information that could lead to the capture of those behind the murder of their classmate, former Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) board secretary Wesley Barayuga.
In July, the 61-year-old Barayuga and his driver were shot dead inside their vehicle in broad daylight in Mandaluyong.
CCTV footage showed a lone gunman on a motorbike carrying out the attack.
The case remains unresolved, prompting the PMA “Matikas” Class to pool funds to help facilitate the probe. Among Barayuga’s classmates are Interior Secretary Eduardo Año and 3 former military chiefs.
PMA Class 1983 posted the notice of reward, and said those with information regarding the crime may contact them at cellphone numbers 09216540715 (Smart) or 09673155108 (Globe).
