RETIREMENT HOME IN NEW ZEALAND PLACED IN LOCKDOWN
The New Zealand Herald reported that Village Palms retirement village in Christchurch has gone into lockdown after residents experienced symptoms of COVID-19.
It can be recalled that New Zealand has gone more than 100 days without community transmission of COVID-19.
New Zealand has managed to contain the spread of the virus.
It recorded only 1,570 cases of COVID-19 with 1,526 recoveries and 22 deaths.
