Singer-actor Ronnie Liang has recorded a new version of the song “Awit Kawal” as a tribute to the fallen soldiers who lost their lives in the Jolo bombing last month.

Ronnie, who is also a pilot and a second lieutenant in the Philippine Army, had a special message to all his comrades in the Armed Forces.

“It was a great privilege na napagkatiwalaan akong mag-record at gumawa ng bagong version ng ‘Awit Kawal’ para sa mga kababayan natin to boost ng moral ng ating kasundaluhan, lalo na sa mga fallen soldiers sa Sulu, sa mga nabombahan doon, mga nasabugan at mga namatay doon,” Ronnie said in his television interview.
