Everise Holdings Inc., a Singapore-based business process outsourcing (BPO) firm, is looking to hire at least 2,000 employees in the Philippines who work from home.

According to the Everise, they are aiming to boost its operation in Manila, Philippines.

Its Manila headcount is now at 3,000, and its global headcount is at 12,000.

“It is critical that we live these values during a crisis to offer a superior brand experience,” he added.

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III earlier said that there could be 6,000 job openings in the BPO industry amid the COVID-19 crisis were thousands of employees were laid off as establishment and businesses were forced to close.
