THAILAND TO EASE RESTRICTIONS AS IT MARKS 28 DAYS WITHOUT LOCAL TRANSMISSION
For the last 28 days, Thailand recorded no domestic transmission of COVID-19 and is now planning to ease travel restrictions on foreigners entering the country.
Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration spokesperson Taweesin Wisanuyothin said the first three groups would be able to return to Thailand and stay in 14-day state quarantine.
Aside from this, medical tourists will now be allowed back for treatment in the hospital.
Thailand has barred its international commercial flights up to the end of June.
As to date, the country has 3,151 cases of COVID-19 wherein 58 have died.
