Hindi pabor ang ilang eksperto sa University of the Philippines (UP) OCTA Research Team sakaling isailalim na sa modified general community quarantine ang Metro Manila.

Iginiit ni Professor Guido David ng UP-OCTA Research Team na dapat munang matiyak na ang pagluluwag ng COVID-19 restrictions ay hindi dapat magdulot ng “drastic rise” ng mga kaso.

Nakatulong umano kasi ang pagbabalik kamakailan ng Metro Manila at ilang karatig probinsya sa MECQ para mapabagal ang pagtaas ng kaso ng virus.

Kasalukuyang nasa 209,544 ang kaso ng COVID-19 sa bansa, at sa kanilang tantiya, posible itong pumalo sa 330,000 hanggang 375,000 sa katapusan ng Setyembre.
