ZIMBABWE probes death of 11 elephants in the forest
Zimbabwe’s Park authorities are now investigating the mysterious deaths of 11 elephants after some carcasses were discovered in Pandamasue Forest.
According to Zimbabwe National Parks and Wildlife Management Authority spokesman Tinashe Farawo, they have taken blood samples of the elephants’ carcasses.
There are reports of elephants being poisoned by poachers in recent years.
They are taking the ivory tusks of the poor elephants to sell to illegal traders.
